Do you know one of those couples that can't stop laughing because they're so funny? I do! I personally admire Zach and Xiomara for the joy that they bring to the people around them! The way they show love to each other is so refreshing and inspirational!
Zach and Xiomara met at a bar and it was love at first sight. According to Zach's point of view, Xiomara just wanted to be friends with him before she could decide if she wanted something serious with him. But he told her that he can't wait around because he was serious and ready!
They have been dating for a few years now and had a son together. Zach finally ready to asked Xiomara to be his wife. Xiomara taught he was going to propose on Christmas gathering, but it did not happen. So she thought, okay maybe new year. Turn out, Zach had the ring in one of the Christmas gifts! So when they opened the gift, Xiomara saw the ring! How sweet and thoughtful is that? Zach asked her to marry him and Xiomara said yes!!! Woohoo!!
Xiomara told me in the beginning that she wanted her engagement session somewhere beautiful and elegant! That makes me think about Berry College right away. I came to Berry College a few hours early to scout the location for their engagement session. I drove around the campus because it was huge! It is one of the biggest college in United States. I found a few hidden gems for their engagement session during my scouting time. Berry College is one of the most photogenic location in Atlanta for an engagement session.
Before we went to Berry College for Zach and Xiomara's engagement session near Atlanta (well, really engagement session in Rome! Ha!), we decided to meet at City Creamery, a cute ice cream shop in downtown Rome, Georgia to get to know each other better. Zach and Xiomara brought their son, so they could have a few photographs with him.
After we finished our ice cream, we made our way to Berry College, we started at The Ford Foundation. We had so much fun even though the temperature outside was like 100 degrees! Berry College has an amazing building that looks like a castle. It matches with their elegant look.
The Gate of Opportunity was next on our Atlanta engagement session location list. It was more beautiful than what we imagined. The trees were so green and lush! Not only that, it was a very historical place. Zach LOVES history so we stopped by the sign, learned a little story about Berry College, and we took photo in front of the sign! :)
The last spot was the hidden gem I found during my scouting time. If you didn't know, Berry College is the place where they host WinShape Retreat. WinShape Foundation creates meaningful experience to strengthen relationship! I've always wanted to go to their marriage retreat with Justin. Maybe one day!!
So, when I drove around the campus, I found this cute Norwegian buildings, beautiful field, and a gorgeous lake. We made it in time right before the sun set!
